Senior Project / Cost Controller
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our company provides a combination of engineering consulting and services to the oil and gas industry based out of Calgary, AB.
We are currently seeking an Senior Project / Cost Controller.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Fully knowledgeable about all project / cost engineering elements in an EPCM contract environment.

Coordinate with project teams to ensure the correct utilization of the project control system based on project specific requirements, and client requirements.

Develop timely and accurate monthly invoices and progress reports.

Prepare cost reports to ensure cost to date, cost to complete and any variances are accurately reported on a timely basis.

Reconcile project expenditures with project activities and prepare financial reconciliation reports.

Support the proposal process by providing input in the schedule and fee development.

Implement project controls procedures and continuous improvement measures.

Prepare change management forms and budgets for client approval.
QUALIFICATIONS

10+ years of related Project/Cost Control experience

Education: B.Sc (or advanced degree) in an Environmental, Engineering, Business Management.

Understanding of Scheduling and estimating interfaces with cost engineering.

Good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting final costs and cash flows

Overview of procurement, contracts, quantity surveying, planning, scheduling and engineering processes and procedures.

Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills

Ability to multi-task, work on several projects or tasks at once, manage time, organize, and set priorities

Proficiency with MS Project and MS Excel
Job is performed in an office environment and site travel may be required, depending on project.
