Intermediate Project Engineer

Our company provides a combination of engineering consulting and services to the oil and gas industry based out of Calgary, AB.

We are currently seeking an Intermediate Project Engineer.

Support the preparation and implementation of effective project execution plans & procedures
Assist with Coordination of cross discipline input into procurement and contract technical packages assigned to their area
Review discipline progress and performance on a biweekly basis with the area discipline leads and develop action plans with project discipline leads when required
Develop and maintain the action log that shows decisions and information required to maintain the area schedule
Manage the change process for the assigned work scope
Develop effective relationships with the client’s project members

University degree in engineering
5 to 8 years’ experience on oil and gas projects
Previous EPC and mineable experience preferred
Project Engineering experience for all phase of the project from DBM to Construction is preferred
Experience in materials procurement, bidding and supporting construction activities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to build and maintain effective client relationships

Job is performed in an office environment and site travel may be required, depending on project.
