• Responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to:

• Be accountable for the successful completion of projects ranging in value from $1M to $30M.

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to complete Engineering and Construction activities to meet project objectives

• Be responsible for initiating, planning, launching, performance & control and closing of projects

• Provide project management leadership that encompasses the entire project lifecycle

• Evaluate equipment and design recommendations from the project team to confirm that design concepts can be implemented cost effectively

• Prepare estimates and schedules of work from inception to completion of projects

• Define project execution plans, scopes of work, work packages and other project execution components

• Ensure projects meet client’s goals for safety, quality, budget and schedule

• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

• Ensure all project documentation is completed and communicated

• Clearly communicate task assignments and performance expectations to team members and conduct regular project team meetings

• Provide concise, detailed, professional communication (written and verbal) with clients and vendors

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 15+ years experience in the EPC industry supporting oil, gas and petrochemical processing facilities

• Should be registered or eligible to be registered with APEGA as a Professional Engineer

• Project Management Professional (PMP) designation will be an asset

• Project management experience overseeing all aspects of a project, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting

• Possess a good working knowledge of industry standard

• Excellent written communication skills

Job is performed in an office environment and site travel may be required, depending on project.
